The man is just a genius.
He doesn't stop running, although he plays left wing we find him all over. He ghosts into the box - (had two great chances yesterday and the goal obviously), he plays in the middle, he sometimes runs to the right, he gets back to defend, he is what you would call a hound dog!
It's like there's a little power station in that not-so-tall body of his that doesn't allow him to stop! He doesn't stop his creativity!
First game he came on, he done some amazing skills and pulled off some great tricks to get past players and set up goals and in all honesty, I thought 'maybe he's just got lucky, first game excitement and all'... But he hasn't failed to entertain me game after game the man is just a ball of tricks.
Every time he has the ball, you just feel he'll do something with it, weather a quick clever 1-2 or a nice ball over the top or just having that change of pace to run at the players when they least expect it, he'll do something with it!
He scores goals as well as passing, getting past players and getting into great spaces, he has great shooting skills! A great free-kick, very nice corners (something we hugely missed last season) and according to YouTube videos, doesn't miss many penalties!
He scored a goal on his Premier League and Champions League debuts. How many players can say they've done that? I can`t believe no-one else signed him especially when he was cheap for a period. Arsene Wenger must be crying with every yard he runs! Even at the price we signed him for, still a bargain!! All hail to our new number 10! A real number 10! JUAN MATA.
