General comment

One of the two best goalkeepers in the world with Buffon. Humble and talented. Pillar of Spain. Challenged by Mourhino.

Performance

Regularity
He is the best goalkeeper in the world with Buffon and this for a number of years.

Form
He is less in form this season and has even been on the bench because of Jose Mourinho.

Offensive skills

Kicking
He is not very good at it and favors short throws-out when he gets the chance.

Intervention

Challenge
He wins almost all of his face to face. His decisive saves against Arjen Robben in the final World Cup are in everyone's head.

Aerial challenge
He is less good at it and he often chooses to stay on his line.

Save
He is decisive on his line and he is able to stop any strike.

Tactics

Manage the defense
He is the captain of Real Madrid and roja for a while so it is logical that he leads the defense.

Mental

Experience
His level of experience is incredible as his prize list.

Team play
He is humble and he knows when to come up to the plate.

Influence in the team
His influence is positive, he is already an iconic player in club and selection.

Big games

Unlike many keepers, he is decisive and he knows how to win this type of game.

Physical

Explosiveness
He is still young for a goalkeeper and he still has good spring.

Physical impact
To do

Fragility
Some injuries including four months of downtime this season.
